I never thought I was going to find myself tweeting. I remember telling my husband a few days ago, "I don't see the point of twitter. Why should I care about what people are doing every second of their life, especially if you don't even know them? Well, I think I found my niche. For the last two nights, I've been tweeting a lot. Mostly, finding friends from Ravelry, KH and Etsy there. It's been a lot of fun! I like the fact that I can have a quick preview of what everyone is doing on my homepage rather than going to so many different forums.
All right, back to work now. Have a great day everyone!
I actually got interested in Twitter once I found out that a lot of companies have deals they only advertise there.. I've won free gift tags, and taken advantage of sales.
ReplyDeleteHey Rose, thanks for stopping by. Who are you on twitter so I can follow you?
ReplyDeleteWho doesn't tweet? LOL I do but I don't as much as I should. Did you know you can update your FB status with twitter? You have to add the app in FB and then one twitter just add a #fb to the end of your post. Oh and of course I am conicuts! (on twitter)

I was even chosen for a treasury once via twitter.
I have a twitter but I'm completely at a loss as to how to use it efficiently. I also have a facebook fan page which is doing nothing but confusing me-lol!
ReplyDeleteI'm way behind the times....I don't tweet...not yet.

ReplyDeleteBluePumpkin, what's your twitter name?
Aura, we need to get you on twitter :)It's kind of cool! I like to learn about good deals even if I can't afford to buy anything, lol
I think you're doing great on your blog! BTW, can you tell me how to put the Rav link on mine? Still can't figure that one out :-)
ReplyDeleteAnyway, twittering...yes, I need to get back to it...when I started originally, I didn't have a lot of "tweets"...but now, well, great networking source! I love the interaction!
Thank you so much Victoria. This is how I got my rav link.
ReplyDeletehttp://www.ravelry.com/wiki/pages/Ravelry-inspiredworks Let me know if you still need help.
It's really hard to keep up with the tweet, especially if you are following so many people. Is there a way to tell if someone replies to your comment?
I don't twitter either, but one of these days...my blog's been twittered about though. Do people often link their tweets to their blog posts?
ReplyDeleteHi Kathleen, thanks for stopping by. You have great photos on your blog! Yes, there is a way to link your tweets to your blogs. I don't know how to do that yet.
